🚀Getting Started
Connection
To play, you need an invite code. Enter it in the field at the top and click Connect. The code has a token limit - you can see remaining tokens in the stats panel.
Select Language
Choose between Italian and English. This will be the language of the AI Narrator.
Start a New Game
- Choose an Adventure: Select a scenario from the available list
- Choose a Character: Select a pre-generated character with their stats, skills, and spells
- Start the Adventure: The AI Narrator will present the initial situation
💡 Tip: Each character has different attributes, skills, and spells. Read the description carefully before choosing!

Screen Layout
- Left Panel (Character Sheet): Stats, HP, FP, skills, inventory, equipment, active effects
- Center Panel (Story): AI Narrator responses and action results
- Input Field (bottom): Type your actions in natural language
- Right Panel (Controls): New game, Save, Load, Export
Game Time
The game tracks time of day (HH:MM) and elapsed time since the adventure started. Every action takes time - resting, exploring, fighting - everything affects the passage of time.

HP and FP
- HP (Hit Points): Your health. At 0 HP you are dead. Magic CANNOT heal HP - only rest and mundane healing.
- FP (Fatigue Points): Energy for casting spells. Recovered by resting.
Health States
The state (Healthy, Wounded, Critical, Dying) is based on the percentage of remaining HP.
Resources
- Gold: For buying items from merchants
- Arrows: Ammunition for bows and crossbows
🛡️Equipment System
Equipment directly affects your combat rolls. You can change equipment from the dropdown menus in the character sheet.

- Armor: Modifies Defense and Resist
- Right Hand: Main weapon
- Left Hand: Shield or second weapon (blocked with two-handed weapons)

Other Modifiers
- Shield: +2 to Defense
- Two-Handed Weapon: +2 to Damage
- Dual Wield: +2 to Attack
- Ranged Weapon in Melee: -2 to Attack
- Unarmed: -2 to Damage (fighting without weapons is less effective)
⚠️ Important: You cannot change equipment during combat!
⚔️Combat System
Combat uses a turn-based system with 2d10 + modifiers rolls.
Combat Flow
- Attack: Attack roll against enemy Agility
- Damage: If you hit, Damage roll against enemy Armor
- Counterattack: Enemy may respond (based on their morale)
- Defense/Resist: Defensive rolls against enemy attack
"Engaged" State
When in close combat, you are engaged. This state:
- Applies penalties to ranged weapons
- Automatically renews each combat turn
- Deactivates when there is no combat in the following turn
Possible Results
- Target Dead: The enemy has been killed
- Target Wounded: The enemy survives but is wounded
- Defended: You parried the enemy attack
- Resisted: You absorbed the blow with your constitution
- Hit: You took damage
- Enemy Fled: The enemy ran away
- Enemy Surrendered: The enemy surrendered
✨Magic System
Spells require FP (Fatigue Points) and an Arcana roll to be successfully cast.

Spell Results
- Success: The spell works as intended
- Failure: The Arcana roll failed (FP still spent)
- Not Enough FP: You don't have enough energy to cast
- Target Immune: The spell has no effect on the target
Active Effects
Buff effects (shield, invisibility, etc.) have limited duration. You can see active effects in the character sheet with remaining time.
⚠️ Important: Magic CANNOT heal physical wounds (HP). Only rest and mundane healing work.
🎒Inventory
Item Types
- Light Items: Small objects (max 10 slots)
- Heavy Items: Weapons, armor, large objects (max 5 slots)
Item Management
- Take: "I pick up the key" - adds light items
- Carry: "I take the sword" - adds heavy items
- Drop: "I leave the torch here" - removes from inventory
Equipping
To equip weapons and armor, use the dropdown menus in the Equipment section of the character sheet. Only items in your inventory can be equipped.

💾Saving and Loading
Auto Save
The game automatically saves your progress to browser local storage after every action.
Manual Save
- Save: Saves the game to browser storage
- Export: Downloads an encrypted
.sav file to your computer
Loading
- Load: Load from an exported
.sav file
- Auto Restore: On startup, if there's an auto save, you'll be offered the option to restore
⚠️ Warning: Local saves are lost if you clear browser data. Use the Export feature to backup important saves!
